After 8 years of incredibly hard work my son and his friends sent a gigantic rocket into orbit tonight. After a truly dreadful week here in LA this was an amazing night. Congrats Carter, we could not be more proud. (That’s him in the red circle in Mission Control!)

We have never needed Norman Lear more. Turning conservative men into Archie Bunker and elevating black families and divorced women raising kids to network series leading characters did more for progressivism than ten thousand politicians could have hoped to do.
