Once again Senator Murphy is leading. He is exactly right. Let’s work to make him the leader of the Senate. He represents the base and most Americans much more than Schumer (his days are over, we need to turn the page given the world today).

There is a refusal to remove the Teflon. And this dynamic, which is worse with media rightward lurch, has harmed our Country. Inexcusable.
February 6, 2026 at 10:10 PM
Disgusting but he sort of gets away with it over and over. Terrible behavior everyday all day is now so normalized by too many. Ugh
February 3, 2026 at 10:10 PM
Senator Murphy should replace Schumer.
February 3, 2026 at 5:19 PM
Disbar him immediately. His violence against the Rule of Law is breathtaking.
January 30, 2026 at 9:16 PM
Amen Senator (happily he is my Senator that should lead the Senate Ds)
January 30, 2026 at 9:11 PM
Absolutely has to happen. There is zero evidence that any of this in-American activity stops until Congress does its job. Even then, this Admin will flout the law. See today’s Epstein file cover up.

Use of “theater”. Combat gear. Comparing this operation to the Venezuela operation (which was also illegal). I will give them one thing. They are candid, as they are at war with Americans. What is sad is that “We the People” voted (or didn’t vote at all) for this. None of this is a surprise
January 29, 2026 at 4:10 PM
Senator please keep leading the Democrat leadership. They are still so far behind us in the base. You have seen this clearly from the start of this nightmare. Schumer/Jeffries/media/intellectual elites have failed us. It is going to get worse, so now we fight.
January 27, 2026 at 9:59 PM
This is not a PR problem. This gives me no comfort. His sources are part of the problem.
January 26, 2026 at 3:59 AM
Amen.
January 26, 2026 at 3:56 AM
True patriot. He knows exactly what happens when the Rule of Law is lost. It is lost - SCOTUS made sure of that.

I have been here for a while now. Trump is so mentally ill (malignant narcissist, among other issues) that he literally cannot act differently. The most culpable are his enablers, the Republicans, billionaires, media, his voters, those that did not vote, D Leadership - roughly in this order
January 22, 2026 at 9:42 PM
Pure corruption. He should be disbarred for all his unethical actions. Oh well, they live with impunity.

The NYTs antiseptic analysis is helpful to confirm what was apparent with the early videos. Given the totality of the circumstances (including the officer’s numerous violations of guidelines) there is little question that, in any normal world, this would be viewed as a wrongful shooting/murder.
January 17, 2026 at 1:18 PM
Why can’t Senator Murphy become the leader. He is so much better than Schumer.
January 7, 2026 at 9:06 PM
What an F’ing useless moron. Primary him

Pope Leo arguably is one of the most influential persons on the planet. While as an ex-Catholic I am clear eyed about the church’s flaws, we should celebrate that the last two Popes have focused on the true teachings of Jesus (while I don’t believe him God, his core teachings are wonderful)

I read the transcript. Jack Smith comes across exactly as I thought he would. Dedicated public servant that acts without fear or favor. He is the best of what the DOJ used to represent. A true American.
January 1, 2026 at 9:53 PM
WTF. I know how terrible he is, but jeez … Being white myself, I just can’t even get my head saying something like that given the despicable parts of our history on this front. How did we go full throttle back to being okay with open racism?

Mehdi’s words above are, of course, exactly right. Folks like me that have increasingly become anti-Israel are deeply concerned about the scourge of antisemitism. We reject completely that anti-Israel has to equate to antisemitism. My heart is broken for these victims of hate. Hate is a cancer

Amazingly, this 38% is a consistent floor. It represents the absolute awfulness of more than a third of our fellow Americans. We are a sick Country.

Cassidy was quite brave and I hope she is doing well. Her book is worth reading.

Make sure to keep going to Costco. I did today. I hate shopping and I hate chaos. But I weirdly I kind of enjoy Costco. They treat their customers and workers well. Getting money back for tariffs helps the customer. If MAGA folks don’t go - I won’t miss them.
December 4, 2025 at 9:54 PM
As so many are saying - absolutely heartbreaking, tragic and completely avoidable. I keep asking why “We the People” let this happened to our Country? We knew this would happen and it is likely to get worse.
