After reading the first case of Inspector Adler, I had to read the second book in the series by Jürgen Tietz. Once again, the crime novel is set in bombed-out Berlin in 1947, where the shadows of war are omnipresent, and not just in the rubble. 📚💙 #booksky

It's zombie time and political thriller time, all in one book. A really interesting mix of genres, with a few jibes at Berlin politics. You can tell that the author works for a Berlin newspaper.

I've finished reading the next book, and unfortunately it pales in comparison to Reinhold Messner's “Antarctica.” The book is not nearly as well written, even though the content is actually exciting.
