Our 61st annual Math Day and (12th edition of my So You Think You Know Math game show) was a success! 165 students, 56 teams from 8 local high schools makes for one great day!

Always great so have our alumni come back and speak about their experiences beyond college! Those connections are one of the many great things we have at Franklin!

Got to tour the newly dedicated Ruth Callon Center for the K-5 Trauma and Behavior program. Each classroom had a room on the side where kids who are feeling strong feelings can go with these Feeling Buddies there to help them. Wonder if they were an inspiration for Nico’s Cocoa Puffs (esp. in CotD).

Kolejka (Queue) is such a great game for showcasing how board games can help us understand history! This week, I got the opportunity to bring it to not just one but two different classes!

The closest George Webb is too far away for me to get a free burger, but I can at least wear my new shirt and eat at a Wisconsin Burger chain. Now I just need the Brewers to get back to winning again!

I finished the Indy Mini in 2:56:45! Kept to my plan, and my times got faster as I went. It was a great experience, and a lot of fun to see my family cheering me on at the finish line. Definitely need to find another half marathon to run, just wish the Disney ones didn’t sell out so quickly!
