This is revealing, I think. You could look at it and see a story about the federal workforce not having kept up with a growing population, or one about it getting more efficient, or one about it offloading functions to contractors so they don’t have as many employees on the books.
Also, the raw number of federal employees has basically not changed in 50 years, over a period in which the US population has grown by ~135 million people & US GDP has grown by a factor of 30. We should treat this Muskaswamy nonsense with all the derision & ridicule that it deserves.
