Saw this guy today resting on algae like a bed! Looks like some duck weed too. Someone would have to correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this is a painted turtle.

I started growing moss as a cover crop to see how it would work to keep soil moist. Here's a picture of it spreading over time on soil in my tent.
