5 panels: Sophie wakes up and after catching her breath relaxes back in bed. Her partner is barely awake next to her, she begins to explain the nightmare she had "Oh sorry I didn't mean to wake you...had a weird work nightmare, heh. My boss was a sock....puppet" Her partner rolls back over and falls back asleep before she's done talking. 3 panels: the scene changes from sophies bedroom to what's going on at her work before the store opens. The assistant manager begins explaining to one of the employee's "Morning, Jason!" "Mornin!" "You ready to work your cheeks off? Suzanne called in, so did our opening hardware clerk and there's no one scheduled for health and beauty all day!" "WHAT!? it's our busiest day of the week too!" "Oops..." 4 panels: "It's okay" Says the asst. store manager "I'll help!" and begins lifting things. Jason, the employee helping him asks "Hey, real quick...Casper was telling me he can talk to ghosts, what do you think? You believe him?" The manager replies "Oh my god, you really think a guy named Casper can talk to ghosts? Let me guess...he told you the store is haunted to?" The comic ends on a panel showing a faded, abandoned nametag with a spirit attached to it.

4 panels: Sophie begins screaming as she falls, when she snaps out of it she sees she's tied to a chair in front of a giant tv. 3 panels: The TV comes on and a sock puppet begins speaking to her "I want to play a game" Sophie questions it "Is that a uh.....a sock puppet?" the sock puppet goes on "Most people are so ungrateful to have a job. Are you ungrateful, Sophie?" 6 panels: "Today, we test your devotion to your job." The sock puppet directs Sophie's attention to the timer and the elderly woman in the room with her "Explain to this legally blind, elderly woman how to use the pin-pad in two minutes while constrained or you're fired!" Sophie starts frantically trying to explain "Don't..shit....you wanna turn it around! no not...Stop it has to go the other way! Wait!" The elderly customer puts her card in with the chip facing out and the pin part starts screeching about a chip error. Sophie tries to explain but keeps getting interrupted "You go--" "Huh, what happened?" "You put it in backwards" "Backwards how's that?" "You gotta put the other end in where the chip is" "Oh...Does this place have an ATM by chance?" "Unfortunately no, can I get you to try your card again?" "Again? But it already went through didn't it?" "It uh, didn't go thr--" "Oh, so you're just gonna charge me twice now, huh? ROB me!?" Sophie then snaps "NO! I'm not trying to rob you I'm just trying to help you pay!" 4 panels: the timer runs out "TIME'S UP!" Yells the sock puppet "And did you just tell the customer NO!?" the elderly customer pulls out a flamethrower and sophie begins to scream, waking her up from her nightmare.

Eric said you wanted to see--" She gets cut off after taking a step in with suddenly no floor below her
