Plot twist, it'd actually be called "Fortunate Sun", a Greenlandic resistance song about how few daylight hours US forces had to work with.

What would you say to the MN-based activists making the opposite request, that people not show up from out of state because their plates create false-positive ICE sightings and their stated reasons for coming are often hard to trust? Would you consider that a fringe position?

Three: under no pretext

To be clear, this is a good thing. No matter what kind of leftist you are, your revolution starts with the overthrow of the fascists by whatever coalition can get it done and ends with the liberals in that coalition discrediting themselves, as begotten by their inherent contradictions.

They think they can afford to abandon the pretext. They might even be right.

Counter-argument: this fucks

None, obviously. But if the situation had played out exactly as it did but without Breonna there, her boyfriend's defensive shooting would still have been justified, and nobody would have died. The point is that you can sometimes shoot at rogue agents invading your home and not go to prison for it.

I'm not sure it'll work that way. Suppression of resistance is primarily being done by local police and deputies, giving DHS/CBP/ICE a free hand to abduct people. Besides, communities that are already organizing a resistance aren't the low-hanging fruit they need to meet Miller's quota.

Worth noting that her boyfriend, though initially charged with attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, had all his charges dismissed without prejudice (and got a $2M settlement) in part because his shooting was justified. So there's precedent for self-defense against rogue goons like ICE.

Passing this along, thanks for the help 👍

Also RIP headphone users, my bad.

Oops, hope everyone's right ear enjoyed that 💀

I've never heard anyone refer to a protest as a "public order event" before. That's a kind of euphemism that red state cops don't bother with.

Holy shit, you weren't kidding...
