I don't think Minnesota settled here. Rossi is currently better than any C Detroit was willing to offer and Buium is probably pretty close to current Ed and 3 years younger. They've been looking for C for a while and a slumping Kasper or rookie Nate probably didn't appeal to them.

This isnt true. Davis has played 13 more games than Embiid the past 5 seasons. Unless you're not including the current season, which would be a bit disingenuous, no? Since Embiid's rookie season, Davis has played 72 more games.
