Taking glasses on and off for the automatic passport booths took its toll on my already fragile glasses. I was trying to avoid replacing them for a few months yet, but electricians tape really isn’t a good look.

I know that I am no longer young, but today I got offered a priority seat on the London Underground 😂 Ooof. I must look very tired!

It will never cease to amaze me how you can be wandering around #fosdem among with 5000 or so other attendees and run into someone you know. Was fun to catch up with @elizabeth-barron.bsky.social as always!

I wish I was better at making connections at conferences. #FOSDEM is particularly overwhelming with soooo many people and impostor syndrome kicked in hard. I appreciated the pug photos from the lovely Community room volunteer, and the coffee line chat with the “follow the duck” person though!

Best talk at #FOSDEM this year was from @edent.tel - I hadn’t realised quite how much shit was flung at the Covid Tracing App team. Really engaging talk with great use of slides and humour.
