So yeah, if you like weird, awkward, interactions in a broken family with a very creepy-cute touch, I recommend ! It's a very quiet, slow movie that keeps it's dread high throughout.
It reminds me a lot of the dutch movie IEP ! that I cannot fond anywhere since I've seen it in theatres...

So yeah, if you like weird, awkward, interactions in a broken family with a very creepy-cute touch, I recommend ! It's a very quiet, slow movie that keeps it's dread high throughout.
It reminds me a lot of the dutch movie IEP ! that I cannot fond anywhere since I've seen it in theatres...

The ending kind of fell flat in my opinion but it's not a bad one ! I just wish they didn't reveal so much of the fantastical aspects in the last 10 minutes. Would've enjoyed a bit more mystery !
(And this ewe right here might be the most tragic character in the whole movie imo.)

The composition of the shots is really interesting, while keeping it seemingly simple. Overall, the movie is really good at conveying the Icelandic summer environment the characters are in. It's paradoxically claustrophobic.
