“But if you have seven assignments due in five days, and AI could speed up the work by tenfold for the cost of a large pizza, what are you meant to do?”
A: use your common sense that it’s going to cost you way more than a large pizza for AI to justify the investment so far & profit.

Clarification: you report *7000* international students at “Harvard.” Harvard University, including Harvard College, has a total student enrollment of 30,391. Of this total, *5,699* are undergraduates enrolled in Harvard College. The remaining students are enrolled in graduate programs.

1. How many of you snarky commenters could actually explain the phenomenon she’s illustrating? Can you? Try to! 2. Good for her for designing the experiment and posing the question for our contemplation. 3. Don’t ever call a child, or anyone, stupid for being curious. Shameful.

Yes, if you’re not poor when you go in, soon enough most end up on Medicaid. That’s why long term care will not exist without subsidies through Medicaid. Without most residents receiving subsidy through Medicaid, imagine how much nursing home would cost. Three times as much!

Medicaid is not just for poor families. Have a relative a long term care facility?
• In 2022, Medicaid spent 58% of its budget on LTSS.
• In 2020, 78.2% of Medicaid's LTSS spending went to nursing facilities.
• Medicaid is the main source of public funding for long-term institutional care.
