JD Vance is the most unlikable person imaginable
Erika Kirk, the widow of slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk, said Turning Point USA, the group her husband founded, would work to elect JD Vance president in 2028 as infighting over the future of the GOP took center stage.

Erika Kirk told a Turning Point USA conference that she would work to elect JD Vance president in 2028, at an event in which MAGA divisions were on full display.

tariffs tamp down supply, and stimulus checks increase demand. what a great inflation-reduction strategy.

President Donald Trump, embattled by America’s growing affordability problems, has once again floated a unique solution: Sending Americans rebate checks for the tariffs that his administration has collected.

Is that OJ's Bronco?
Hahaha. I cannot see this truck with thinking back to 1994. And watching Knicks-Rockets at my buddy Jason’s place.
Andrew Cuomo being driven around at low speeds in a white Bronco seems fitting for this great respecter of women. Where did he even find a white Bronco in NYC?

so many better ways to blow $1.5 million
New: Mike Bloomberg didn't just give $1.5M to the pro-Cuomo Fix the City super PAC this week.

He also made an even larger $3.5M contribution to an anti-Mamdani super PAC called For Our City, making him the general election cycle's largest single donor. www.nydailynews.com/2025/10/31/b...

this is my main point. if we're gonna throw money at "urban crime" there are so many better ways to spend it
In Opinion | If President Trump wanted to help Portland, “there are many ways he could do so with the $10 million that was the estimated cost of his deployment of the Oregon National Guard,” our columnist Nicholas Kristof writes.

With the millions being used to deploy troops to Portland, Trump could help with treatment for substance use, with emergency housing, with education.

i'd say about 3-5% of voters still check the box for Adams
The race to lead New York City has tightened since Mayor Eric Adams' departure, but Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic nominee, maintains a 13-point lead a month before Election Day, according to a poll released on Thursday.
Mamdani Maintains 13-Point Lead as Cuomo Gains Ground After Adams’s Exit
While former Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo benefited from Mayor Eric Adams’s departure, Zohran Mamdani still enjoyed a sizable lead in the Quinnipiac University poll.
