For the final image from this shoot, I wanted to experiment with a high-contrast, almost graphical style. After editing, I realized it reminded me somewhat of the artistic style of Tom of Finland. I suppose the high-contrast black leather .../bts

The only image with real beverage in the glass. I tested yellow ink for this, but it looked bad, so I used beer here. I had to drink it after the photoshoot, so that was a bonus. bts

For the skull image, I used a Crystal Head vodka bottle filled with water and red alcoholic ink. The skull looks really good in backlight. Especially in this image the back of the skull shows the flashes. I should have left more space between .../bts

The LYV wine bottle has this interesting geometric shape. The bottle was filled with water and navy blue alcoholic ink. I think the blue color in that shape looks even better than the original liquid. bts

My wife has this old locomotive bottle. I didn’t fill it with anything since the bottle is already green. Since I really didn’t want to break it, I used double-sided tape to attach it to the tray. It worked well, but I’m not sure if the metal .../bts

This idea was inspired by a lighting setup post similar to Martin Schoeller's close-up series. After taking a few shots, it reminded me of the Neon Noir album cover by VV (Ville Valo). What catches my attention in these images are the distinct .../bts

This is the final portrait in the series of three Vikings. I suppose we ran out of weapons for this one and reused the same axe and sword. Niko held the sword in the right position while lying on the floor, and Marko posed for the shot.

Here’s another addition to the series, this time with a tyranny theme. I crafted a couple of props for this image. For the baton, I found that fake plastic ones—with postage—were more expensive than a cheap garden hoe. So, I improvised by adding .../bts

Mr. Black character was an obvious choice for this image. Both JP and I have used this character in our work before, as he is incredibly versatile. Once again, JP assisted me in the studio, and it took us about 1½ hours to construct the .../bts

Another image for this 'Attitude' pair. This one showcases the wide-angle effect even more than the previous shot. It might not be the most traditional angle for a portrait, but it works—at least for me.
