I was lucky enough on my ride yesterday to catch the sun setting. It was a nice cool down ride from a longer one on Saturday.

Light cloud cover and the sky reflected in a mirror like calm lake. A clear sky appreciation shot, loving the soft colors of the sunset. Heading home from my ride. Seeing the last light fade from the sun, fully behind the foot hills. Able to capture the rays of sunlight in the sky.

Colorado never fails to just be pretty. I love this view.

This isn't the best shot ever (states the most obvious of obvious), but i really love the detail of the wings and light that i managed, somehow, to capture.

I'm going to take this moment to absolutely celebrate my 'perceived failure workout year'

I had a goal I very much did not meet, (bike 3500 miles this year) i did meet my weekly goal in time and distance, and looking at my Strava year in review, I am pleased with the growth! #Bikesky #Strava

Took the day to get the house in order so i can be a biking, reading, undefined hobby-ing gremlin till 2025.

Also roasting beans for fresh coffee, and this is one of my faves. It is so beautiful pre-roast

Coffee is neat.

Still roasting the same batch.
Starting a roast, the beans are moving from green to a light tan. The beans are in a drum roaster. The beans have been roasting and are close to first crack. A lot darker in appearance.

Took the larger roaster out and gave it a spin. Excited to give these beans a grind and a brew and see how different it is from the countertop roaster.

I have felt really low about my mental block around biking this summer. Seeing this graph helped knock loose some of my disappointment in myself.

1100 miles so far isnt too bad all things considered.

I have acquired prewired leds and a 9v batter adapter with 9v batteries... i am hoping to up my Halloween decore game and be a general menace by teaching myself basic electrical tricks.

I decided to make a #TTRPG patch jacket for a pirate theamed game that im in. The goal is to treat it like a scrap book as the game progresses and fill this jacket up!

I made it out yesterday, and it was a slog for the first half. Leggies were recovering, but it also was a great view.

Winter is threatening to come to Colorado finally at the end of this week, so glad i made outside rides a priority.

I made a goal to get out 3 times over my vacation cause ive had a horrid mental block around riding.

It always brings me joy in doing it, but the last 2 years have been hard and have really taken a toll on my health and fitness.

Last night, i got my roast on. The subtle differences on these beans are neat!

For having a 'pretty unsuccessful garden this year' id say what is able to produce has been very productive. (2 of my 6 beds are producing nothing due to rabbits and my own hubris)
