This is great, thank you. Would it be worth also documenting how to make this work with fonts deployed alongside a Quarto site/brand and/or fonts self-hosted alongside a HTML file? I feel like for an SVG inside e.g. Quarto with custom theme one could end up loading the same font multiple times...

Reminder me of something I did once in ggplot2 - here is a gist with a sample of how it was done: gist.github.com/petrbouchal/... (I think I also failed to turn it into a proper custom geom but I suspect it can be done)
