Women’s puukko typically did not have a wooden handle in case it got forgotten on the stove. However my grandmother had the most beautiful one - she carved the handle herself - she always carried it with her at mökki. Kids were not allowed to borrow it ever.

Investing in infrastructure is not "spending recklessly". Public infra investments can yield 45% ROI, higher than any other investment.
