I’ve not read or watched the discussion yet, but there are plenty reasons to consider AI to be unethical, regardless of the utility of it. Environment, plagiarism, consent, etc. I’m not disputing any points being made though.

i could actually kind of respect if AI boosters said that one of their biggest issues in 2025 was to demonstrate or prove the worthiness of all of the apparent costs and harms of LLMs and of "AI", but this derision for people not knowing enough is really contemptible shit.
