A few photo highlights from my week. Cookies were LNY with my family, black sesame orange and sugar strawberry. Yarn mail from #QingFibre, and a greeble peeking at me.
Black sesame and orange zest cookie dough balls sprinkled with white sesame seeds sit in rows on aluminum foil. The cookies are black and white marbled, with specks of orange from the zest. One very little dough ball sits, ready to be baked for a waiting pupper - not pictured. Two and a half rows of pink dough balls sit close together on aluminum foil. The strawberry cookies are dusted with sugar and freeze dried strawberry chips Six colorful skeins of various fiber yarn. Each skein is situated horizontally, one on top of the other. Green and greys, orange pinks and reds, yellows purples and blues. There are fingering weight, lace weight, worsted and DK weight yarns. A light gray tweed chair covered in a white and cream, faux fur throw blanket. Peeking out of the blanket is a very tired cat that has fomo. One long muppet-like front leg sticks out toward the camera, toe beans exposed. The other leg is bent, paw close to the cats face.

Happy Lunar new year!
This year I bought treats for my family and friends instead of making moon cakes 🥮.
I wish everyone prosperity and abundance!

First day above freezing in a few weeks. Assessed the greenhouse damage, made a dent in the weeds, and pruned up the roses. Ignore the compost bin. It’s too frozen to sift.

Now it’s back to knotting.
