Funny story, the point was to get to Its a Wonderful Life and the bank run scene (as I teach Economics), only one student all day claimed to have seen it, and she was so excited. Then, she saw none of her classmates reacting the same and quickly reined in her reactions.

The topic of Christmas movies came up in class today … Die Hard was mentioned. I did not praise or crush the student for fear of sparking a riot.

It is so easy to spot people who have never spent a day in the classroom.
