Also, it was a big change from suburbia to rural, more or less middle of nowhere where they pushed their ethnic demographic into double digits. (Yeah, kids don’t look anything like me. Which has made thing very interesting and way eye opening to things i ‘knew’ existed, but not knowing how bad)

We moved when eldest just graduated high school and twins were heading into their sophomore year. Kids are more resilient than we picture. They make new friends and find new things to do or find other ways to do what they were already interested in.
