It doesn't happen very often, in fact hardly ever.. But once in a blue moon I wish I still worked in an office.

So markets are crashing from Tariffs, NWS/NOAA and the IRS are being dismantled, we've abandoned allies in place of Russia and.. North Korea? Oh, wait.

Fox likes the snow

After breaking a string at the Ruba club and not having a spare guitar, I've made sure that will not happen again.

Current 500mb winds seem like an easy way to see why the "too cold to snow" myth happens. Philly is right in the middle of that cold, dry dip from Canada with no southern moisture interaction possible from the shove. Great lakes hoisting moisture and dumping snow locally.

The cats love when I build a fire in the fireplace.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Male wild turkey pic from my back yard about 18 years ago.
Unfortunately the local population is wayy down these days, since the fox population is wayy up.

My good old trusty JC120. I replaced the grill with a standard fender style mesh, which I think is more attractive.

Ok, I think I finally have my vintage board locked in for the gig this weekend.

Here's a red belly woodpecker pic I took some years back. Didn't get the whole bird, but I had the camera right next to the feeder and got great detail.

In today's episode of "can it be fixed by an amateur"?
My old DigiTech EX7 Expression Factory, which turns on fine but gives no signal whatsoever.

This old ad for White Lead paint is now my favorite insult..

My friend went to see Bill Frisell play tonight, and got a great pic of his pedalboard! Secret sauce stuff here.

Update, getting closer
November 16, 2024 at 4:41 PM
Turns out my vintage Boss Digital RSD-10 is working - despite the fact that the circuit board had broken at the power supply. I sloppily glued it back together, and bypassed the broken section years ago & left for dead. If I leave it plugged into the out power, and set at -20dbm it works!!
November 15, 2024 at 4:37 PM
Damn, turns out my DigiTech EX7 is not working anymore. The LED lights red when I plug it in, then goes out and no signal or sound whatsoever. Time to break out the multimeter and check the power supply. Of course this qualifies as vintage now too and is worth 300 bucks working. Doh!!

Still not sure if I'll use this platform much, but I figure I'll post something for posterity.
I'm going to try to resurrect my old-school guitar effects, after using a Line 6 processor for the last several years.
