Threats- whether directed at politicians (“Do what we say or we’ll primary you!!”), journalists (“Write what we like or we’ll slander you!!)” or artists (“Keep quiet or we’ll unfollow!”) - to keep someone “in line” says EVERYTHING. If pressure is required to support an idea, it’s probably a bad one
