It was a foggy, cloudy morning, but I could still see the outline of the sun through the clouds. Even when you don't feel His warmth or see His light, the Son is still shining.

In her pride and wealth, America exalts herself as the greatest nation in the world. But when the Lord sends the poor and the outcasts to her, many of them are treated unjustly or demonized. The land and everything in it belongs to the Lord. Babylon will fall.

Each day we are called to live in a way that we are prepared if Jesus returns today, but also that we are prepared if Jesus delays and doesn't return today.

Our only allegiance should be to Jesus Christ, who is not only our Savior but Lord over everyone and everything.

Young men want to be heroes, but the Lord is looking for us to be faithful in the small things, especially the things we don't want to do. Help out with the housework, be kind and listen, and be available for the Lord.

Some Christians care nothing for the environment as they await another world, but guests should take the best care when they are in the house of another and not act evilly towards the owner. And we know that God is the Owner of all.

Christ is our Light!
If the birth of our King Jesus remains just an outward event, we somewhat miss the point. He came so that His Life could be reproduced in us. He was born to die, to bring forth the many sons of God in resurrection. Our spiritual birth is the birth of Christ within us.

When Satan offered Jesus his power and authority over the nations, Jesus rejected it and took the way of the cross. So we too must take the way of the cross. The cross is foolishness to the world, but to those of us being saved it is the power of God.
