But after my prepared comments, I also shared how Minnesota will keep moving forward thanks to MN Legislators. State & local action has never been more important. Proud to be a Minnesotan! (2/2) #mnleg

At @repilhan.bsky.social's invitation, I described how the Republicans’ Big Ugly Bill will drive up our energy bills, kill jobs, and increase pollution. And how this will only benefit the fossil fuel executives who donate to their campaigns... (1/2)

While we Minnesotans reckon with the horrific assassination of our Speaker Emerita Hortman, the right-wing media ghouls are spinning that someone whose target list includes Democrat lawmakers & abortion rights advocates is somehow a secret leftist. This guy: pguards.net/leadership-t... Disgusting.

Thanks to Rep. Koegel, Sen. Dibble and Rep. Jones for speaking the truth that the budget is being unfairly balanced on the backs of transit riders (and the future transit system we should be building), while road funding is protected. #mnleg (1/2)

(NOTE: it was not a straight party line vote.)
A few R Senators (Drazkowksi, Duckworth and Limmer) VOTED YES for Transparency
And a few DFL Senators (Frentz, Hauschild, Klein, Kupec and Rest) VOTED NO against transparency

The Richest People on Earth don’t want us to know how much taxpayer subsidies they’re getting or what they’re doing to our environment. The Senate almost voted prevent Big Tech from hiding behind Non-Disclosure Agreements. But it failed on a tie. Look who voted for transparency & who didn’t! #mnleg

Some MN leaders want to KEEP taxpayer subsidies for Amazon, Google, Facebook & Delta, which requires deeper cuts to health care, transit, etc. But they're having trouble getting votes for this because it’s so unpopular! Pick your favorite message & call your legislators NOW. #mnleg

Taxpayer subsidies for the _Richest People on Earth_ are now being negotiated behind closed doors. Since the public isn’t invited, we shared some thoughts at the Capitol complex last night... #mnleg

The awful House Transportation Bill passed today including unnecessary climate rollbacks. But thankfully a strong majority of Democrats (49 out of 67) voted no. That sends a strong message to the conference committee. We are determined. We won't delay climate action. #mnleg 1/2

Americans are frustrated Democrats don’t do more because Republicans control congress. But they don’t control MN. Our legislators can stop rollbacks of climate laws simply by VOTING NO on terrible House Transportation (HF2438) and Senate Energy (SF2393) Bills. (I'm proud of this coalition!) #mnleg

Exactly. If KSTP quoted PropertyShark, we wouldn’t be shocked. The NYT should maybe aim a bit higher.

@AthenaHollins asked great questions about real job numbers, alternative tech & why should we let them skirt environmental laws? She also asked Amazon to speak up, but they would not, even though their lobbyist was IN THE ROOM. Will Amazon testify at the next hearing? #mnleg

Elon Musk & other Big Tech bullies want to have their way with the Federal Govt. They also want our money through state governments. Fortunately, this is a fight we can win! Minnesota is ready to push back. #mnleg #no$4TechBros

Our State Senator must represent the whole district. That means showing up. In the last few days, I personally doorknocked voters in 9 big buildings in Cedar Riverside, working to earn people’s votes. I’ve met parents of kids who go to school with my kids at Pratt school. (1/3) #mnleg

Thanks for your support, Patty. “Peter is rare in that he understands the politics of getting bills passed but also is fully committed to passing actual progressive policy.
