For Germany in 2024: Wind 27.9%, solar 14.9%, other renewable/non-FF (14.6%).Total non fossil fuel generation 57.4%. Coal 21.9%, gas 16.6%, other FF (4%), all FF generation 42.6%.

Coal fell to 10% of EU power generation in 2024, and was surpassed by solar (11%). Total EU fossil fuel power generation also fell to a historic low last year, with gas generation falling for a fifth successive year. ember-energy.org/latest-insig...
