Belgian #fairs are immaterial heritage, and #Antwerp 's #Sinksenfoor is one of the biggest. Since the 13th century it has started at Whitsunday ('Sinksen', from 'cinquagesima'). These days, it usually starts the Friday before, allowing for an extra weekend of merry-making.
