$46 billion for the ICE army next year. ICE militants are true MAGA believers. It's practically a Trump army. Very scary shit!

I am a printer. My vendor partners sending in emails, "We will hold prices through May. - June 1 all prices go up to cover tariffs..." Apparel. Sign materials. Trade show displays. Promotional products. On and on. Watch binge while pre-tariff merch moves at jacked up prices. Inflation. Recession.

Troops in Big Bend? I have big to Big Bend National Park and this is a waste of money. No refugees are climbing down 1000 foot tall bluffs!

Policy is vital. But more important is the structure of the rules. They saw Trump 1.0 but did little to protect a better governing structure. Dems should have changed rules on Tariffs. Supreme Court Lifetime tenure. Justice Department. Protect heads better of independent agencies. Watchdogs. Etc.

Is Donald Trump throwing rolls of paper towels again?

I wonder if Musk and Trump think that the human race would have a better gene pool with all the poor dead from treatable disease? Perverse Darwinian survival of the richest?

Dead babies in Africa? Dead Americans with no health insurance? Ukraine lost to Russia? Grifters everywhere? Trump doing things like a dictator? Protests every corner? Trump voters not going to give a crap until the economy collapses and only then will they vote Republicans out of office.

Tariff inflation is about to start. It feels like major recession is on the way. One of my production partners shared this. classicexhibits.com/tradeshow-bl...
Tariffs, Prices, and the Exhibit Industry - Trade Show Ideas & Inspiration
Lots of questions, speculation, and intrigue about tariffs. Even if you try to avoid the news, you’re still hearing about tariffs along with inflation.

Inflation? The talking heads don't get it mostly. I started to get notices from my production partners that they have raised prices in anticipation of tariffs increasing their costs from overseas vendors.

Here in Chicago we don't like people renaming things just because the have money or power. Up yours Mr. Willis...it will alwys be Sears Tower. And the Sox play at Comisky Park, not in a Cell.

I just remembered that Miriam Adelson, who got a fucking Presidential Medal of Freedom from Donald Trump in exchange for her dead husband's money, owns the Dallas Mavericks now.

May the Luka trade send them into a tailspin that never ends.

Trump says Medal of Freedom "equivalent" to and "much better" than Medal of Honor, sparking backlash from veterans
The Medal of Honor is the nation's highest military award for bravery in combat, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom is the highest civilian honor.

So, when the raw materials we use at our firm start to climb in cost, and we lose business because of higher prices, do we lay off the Trump voters on staff first? I dont't think we would do that but I am ANGRY!

I went to buy a smart watch. Looking at the off brands...from China. In looking at the software apps they link to was amazed that they admit to taking personal information and sharing it as they please. Is the Chinese military behind all these apps gathering US intel? I am buying a dumb watch.

Met with entire shop today. Staff of 30. Some Trumpers and some not. Told them while 2024 was a good year despite Postmaster DeJoy jacking rates, I was uncertain of 2025. Tariffs on paper from Canada? Tariffs on trade show display hardware? Said need to be prepared for whatever. Stunned they were.

It is coming back to me now 8 years later. Some of the early Trump moves after taking over from President Obama were just done to destroy Obama's good works. Spite? Jealousy? Child-like breaking things? Trump is at it again, not leaving Biden's good works to stand.

So, US-owned apps like FB and X are banned in China, and Chinese-owned apps like TT and others are free to do whatever in the US? That seems fair.
