I like the idea of a new take, with new characters etc, if the spirit is still there, ala Galaxy Quest.
I worry that they'll just slap the name on anything not set on modern day Earth for brand recognition and call it a day.

I feel it's highly unlikely they'll get the votes to release and more unlikely they'll actually get released, and even more unlikely anything will happen if they are. BUT, they'll all be on record as voting against it, which will hurt them in the long run...in theory.

To be fair TV picture quality was very different back then, and we were an age where we thought "ninja" was a viable career option.

Apprehensive, but like the apprehension you feel when it's the middle of the night and you're in a bad part of town and some rough looking dude is all like "nice car, be a shame if something happened to it" with a sprinkle of the doctor said you need to come in ASAP, but they won't tell you why.

Pretty sure those files could include home video of him choking out his voter's grandmother and most of them would just say "yeah that wasn't great, but I'll still vote for him again"

I've been saying for years the 2 things I want to see in DC live action (not counting the popular top tier stuff) are the Checkmate Knights ala the late 80s, and Captain Atom.

Not that they're related, just that I really want to see both of them show up in live action.

I mean, maybe drag your feet, but if we write them off completely that's just going to backfire.

I keep seeing people saying to continue to boycott them.

Folks, if we boycott when they're working to correct their mistakes, or at least presenting as such, there is a one billion percent they learn the wrong lesson. As will every other company/organization that's watching.

FWIW there were rumors a while back that it would release on the 18th, so I'm guessing they delayed it a few days with the assumption that with society's absurdly short attention span all of the boycott talk would already be out of the news cycle.
