“Pro-vaccine” is a misnomer here! It’s the standard of medical care. We don’t call doctors “pro-insulin” or “pro-antibiotic” for recommending these treatments to their patients when necessary. The uproar is because people want their medicines to be recommended based on science, not politics.

RFK’s mantra that “vaccination is a personal decision” is unconscionable in the midst of the country’s worst measles outbreak in decades. Wearing a seatbelt is also a personal decision—but a decision so effective in preventing injuries that we’ve made it the law in all 50 states.
