I love this concept art for Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond shop coming to Disneyland but let’s be real, it’s not going to look like this because all those shelves won’t be filled with old looking relics or books it will be the latest bright loungeflys and spirit jerseys.

Wicked was WOW, so good. @jonmchu.bsky.social is a master at turning musical dance numbers into modern cinematic artistry. But almost every moment I was thinking, this world screams to be made into a theme park land that can be explored and experienced at @universalorl.bsky.social

The video has more likes & comments than normal & we got A LOT more comments from people thanking us for making the video - that was the whole point in the first place. Not every video needs to be a huge “success”, some videos can have a larger impact on a smaller group of people.

In the end the video isn’t doing great compared to our other videos (ranked ten out of our last ten videos). We expected and knew that would be the case so we aren’t bummed or anything). I hope that it will get more views in the long term as it’s more of an evergreen video.

I had been a bombas customer for over ten years since first seeing them on shark tank. I absolutely love them. So the fact they wanted to support our channel got me so excited.

It’s not perfect, but it’s cool to see an idea go from concept to execution & come close to the original vision.
I also tried this one where we inserted a colorful notebook into Kitra’s hands. It doesn’t look quite right. We AB tested the two thumbnails & without the notebook won by a large margin

We ended up thinking that Kitra’s T-shirt design was distracting so we’re able to remove that. And then added the text and there we have the thumbnail

But the items didn’t quite look like enough so we tried a new feature in midjourney’s desktop editor to try to fill out the background a bit and make it look more interesting.

Here’s an outtake from the shoot that had gizmo but it didn’t make sense to include him because he wasn’t coming with us 😂 also yes I had to shoot this photo upside down off the side of the bed.

So I started in Spotter Studio using their thumbnail explorer that uses AI to mock up thumbnail ideas based on a title or concept. It’s not perfect but it gives you a lot of ideas in a short period of time and you can kinda explore and figure out which direction we wanted to go.
