Being able to survive the encounter and being pleasant (for fans or players) are different questions. I get that we already play in those months AND that those are not enjoyable months to play in. So now the season will have 40ish% of the season be in unpleasant months to play outdoor soccer in.

Small clarification, Meg was in favor of supporting the process that led to the Mall. She originally voted against the project but was strongly in favor of supporting what came out of that process, even if she didn’t agree with it.

With quotes from two know opponents to the project from the onset and one who has been opposed to any road improvements in the neighborhood whose business is on Lyndale instead of Hennepin. Plus no mention of UA moving the art fair while other events have since happened on Hennepin.

Nothing says Star Tribune more than writing an article to shit on the exciting reopening of an important Minneapolis corridor by not showing before and after photos and barely talking about the exciting new elements.

…but what if we made it normal?

Interesting that Mary brought up Brian, who supported the Mall redesign. As opposed to Craig, who super disingenuously tried to rewrite the length and depth of discussion on the Mall and capitulated to the fire access nonsense argument.

With the sewer work seemingly delayed, maybe can be revisited?

Sure would be nice if we could have moderators who actually like the city (and ideally live here).
