I make Dad jokes on NPR and also write books and other things.
Oh, I know. They say what they’re going to do, and they do it. All I’m saying is I have some questions about the show/production that they don’t address because they all know the answer already.

I saw that and I have no idea what that is about

Okay. This is my bias, because I’ve done a few recap podcasts. I listened to E1, and I think it would have benefitted from being hosted by an outsider. There’s a lot of assumed knowledge and perspective in that room.

I would differ only in that were a lot of very good things in BCS so I wouldn’t rank them.

Noting that the quote from the brother is second hand, ie, reported by the mother’s sister.

Because whatever's happening with ownership, and whatever's become of the Op-Ed page, there are still excellent reporters there doing valuable work (and, so far, still getting published on the news pages.)

Feel I should clarify: Barbie was great, deserved all the plaudits and the affection and admiration you all feel (me too.) But would a child who loves the toy also love the movie? (Also, just realized this moment: Will Ferrell plays the villain in both. Hmm.)

Oh, geez. To wear the silver and black? Liam Neeson 35 years ago?

He being a nerd of my generation, I am not surprised at all.

It would be, as would, I suppose Amazon Prime.

While we're at it, HBO, if you're listening, Zelazny's "Chronicles of Amber" would be great for your next big budget fantasy series.

So is it more proper to say, "If I say so myself," or "If I may say so myself?"

Also, read it as a kid in summer camp, when I found out the library with its ancient books was more conducive to my nature than, say color wars. Shall order this one up.

He was right! It just didn’t work.

Solid work by this reporter, but this story was broken by @jessbravin.bsky.social of the WSJ six weeks ago. I hope with this new reporting it will get more attention.

Biden Spared 37 Killers From Execution. Trump Ordered Up a Lifetime of Torment.
Even America’s harshest federal prison, where inmates spend 23 hours a day in solitary confinement, was too good, one official said. “I’ve got no problem with gruel.”

Of course if we had seen Rogue One at 12 we would have been horrified. They all die! It’s so bleak! Andor would have bored us silly.

Star Wars was for the children we were, the other two for the adults we are now.

I was 12 in 1977, saw Star Wars around 14 times in the theater.

I was 34 in 1999, saw The Phantom Menace once and at the end of the screening my head was practically between my knees.

So: guess!
