The underlying problem is that Parliament has non-digital voting systems that require members to queue in divisions. With parliamentary productivity the same as the Victorians, no wonder the country is going to hell in a handcart. Demolishing the Palace of Westminster would do us all a favour.

From January 1st France is increasing its language requirement for naturalisation from B1 to B2. B2 is roughly equivalent to A level and is the level required to study a degree at a French University. It is too high a level for most migrants and goes beyond being fluent.

I learnt to climb the ropes at school. After I became a climber for a while I could climb them without using my feet. I taught for a while in a senior high outside Leicester and would sometimes train on them.
