I noticed in the prospect guide that Sam Dickinson’s fantasy upside comes in at 45%. As a comparison point, Demidov comes in at 40%. I really like him, but it seems like a stretch. Where does this value come from? Do hits and blocks weigh that much in the rating?

Last year I did my episode of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous - Pierre Poilievre style.
Turns out the guy isn't entitled to the 19 room mansion, the personal chef and groundskeepers.

Indigenous peoples have been confronted with Trump-like leaders for centuries. Here’s what we’ve learned
While threats to Canada’s sovereignty might understandably feel new and different for the majority, for Indigenous peoples, they are as old as Canada itself.

Is it possible that not retaliating is still a better choice? Maybe, but we can’t *only* ask economists about the implications of these choices, and we can’t compare to anyone else who is facing the tariff nonsense, because nobody else is getting them attached to 51st state rhetoric.

It bothers me that this entire article never engages with the contextual political difference between tariffs on Canada and everyone else, including Mexico, which is that the tariffs are stated to be a step towards *forced annexation*. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
Some countries aren't retaliating against Trump's tariffs. Should Canada 'turn the other cheek'? | CBC News
Faced with tariffs imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump, some countries have decided, so far, to respond by turning the other cheek, and not retaliate with their own duties.

@byronbader.bsky.social who’s potential do you like better over the next 5 years, Artamonov or Catton? I like to think Artamonov will transition a little better to the NHL.

"Vote splitting" and "strategic voting" narratives that focus entirely on voting AGAINST something (however bad that something) are starting to feel really like really obvious excuses not to look at how alternative parties give us little to vote FOR.

We are moving in on 320,000 signatures on the parliamentary petition to strip Elon Musk of his CDN citizenship.
It will be the largest petition in Canadian history.
It's a symbolic gesture that expresses Canadian rage at this anti-democratic oligarch.
