this past summer we had plagues of mosquitoes and midges, perhaps due to the very high humidity we had for an unusually long time. The various types of native bees in our garden seem happy enough but I don’t see many of the imported honey bees any more.

ours are windows or linux mostly but none us the crowdstrike stuff.
and the apps we build are a combination of linux on mainframe (insanely secure), linux on pseries and aix. all this windows cloud bollocks is an abomination :-)

Thankfully my clients don’t use any of that stuff for anything important, so we had no issues. Not that I would have had to look after that type of thing anyway, it’s a role I’ve always avoided :-)

ah ok thanks Andrew, I’d forgotten about adjustable blades. I have an old 6x9 but it just has a holder with a cutout. I think I’ll have to make a custom holder for it, one day.

London Camera Exchange were very helpful. They had a good film assortment and I was able to get some odd sized batteries there too.
