Not a single word to help the 33m small businesses in this country. Not from anyone in the administration.

So many buy from China, and don't have alternatives.

So many didn't have the cash to front run the tariffs and buy inventory

Increasing the price I charge these food manufacturers is another reason grocery store prices will rise. You don’t hear that one on the news.

I have no choice but to raise the price of these critical parts for machines that deliver food products to your local grocery store. We may be a small company, but I assure you that the parts I sell have touched 50% of the food products in your home right now.

Remember…….10 employees…….having to pay an additional 25k to import every two weeks will mean laying off employees and possibly going out of business.

Yesterday, I had a 20K shipment ready to ship out of China. I had to put the shipment on hold because the 125% tariff would cost us 45K to bring the parts into the US.

60% of our products must be made in China because they can’t be made at a competitive price in the US. Another 20% I have made in EU. The other 20% is made here in the US.

Thoughts on tariffs from a small business owner.....I employ 10 people suppling parts to food manufacturing companies (we design and outsource the mfg). These parts keep their packaging machines running and get products to store shelves.
