Sooo it’s been a middling NaNoWriMo week. Managed 15k words so far which, given I’m only just getting over a dose of Covid, I’m taking as a win…

NaNoWriMo day 1 - not an ideal start thanks to your friend and mine, Covid, but I’ve managed to put in 596 words, so that’s over 1% of the way to the 50k goal. I’m taking that as a win as I tuck myself up with my kindle and a cup of lemsip, feeling v sorry for myself…!

After the storm - today in Derbyshire - the River Dove. Slightly wet and muddy walk…

So, in spite of November already looking like a car crash in terms of the day job + family commitments, I’m seriously thinking about doing NaNoWriMo again this year… Anyone else with me? Suspect I’ll be needing all the moral support I can get…!
