Helicopter taking water from Errwood to put out fire above Goyt. Looked hot work. And constant

Lots of cargo bikes in timeline today. Here was me in for a 9am meeting at aecom not Deloitte. They got me to bring it into the bike store. Difficult to get through doors. But good space- plenty of room.

Mars- Jupiter - Venus and Saturn all lined up tonight. Impossible for me to photo. But get outside and have a look.

Who says we don’t live in a car brain world. About half of the jumpers today had cars on them. Conditioning

This child’s jumper is terrifying. Both in message and execution. (Looking for nursery clothes)

Forgot to post the picture of the road I’m talking about. But it’s obvious hopefully

Canal towpaths aren’t cycle infrastructure. Change my mind. Used it with the cargo bike to get to velodrome for jumble sale. So much inaccessible. And at least one turn back on way into town. I would use the Highway segregated cycle track but there’s a big gap on a dodgy bit of dual carriageway.

Get your good selves to Swinton tomorrow. This looks amazing. It’s called Swinton ark and was organised by a colleague. Brilliant. Picture stolen from Derek Antrobus.

I actually have the same model shown in the picture. As the little one grew I did start getting some complaints about comfort. So I made some cushioning for the chair. Now she likes the bumps again.

Another fantastic Lightwaves tonight.

Just had this artwork restored and relocated to a more prominent location in salford quays. Don’t they look great?

This but a scratch. Nothing a bit of tape won’t sort. Spotted in big Tesco. Panels were visibly bent. Surprised if crumple zones weren’t compromised. Standards are so low.

Another year, another #treebybike this is one of the best. Another banger from Bud garden centre in Burnage 🎄. And thought I’d post a photo of the Christmas Tree Modal Filter

One of the things I like about the cargo bike. Trip to Park. Museum. Lunch. Cargo will store a balance bike and when she gets tired she will put it away. There aren’t many bikes in the rack at the weekend and so she also gets to lock it like daddy.

Haven’t used it but this seems quite a clever feature for route planning. Gives a bit more security. Haven’t looked in detail but it’d be interesting to understand if it can tell where high risk people are running through dangerous spaces at night - probability young men:That distorts usefulness.

Went to tip on cargo bike. Dyson died. You could focus on the flytipped caravan. But my journey which went through 3 filters was infinitely better on quiet streets. Yes, it is imperfect - but don’t forget to acknowledge the good. Such a stress free trip.

oldham today. They’re doing some good things in the town centre. new council offices in the shopping centre are brill and great shower facilities for those cycling. Shows how failing retail centres can be given new life. Some good moves. Personally I think they will end up getting more density.

Cargo bike win for lunch with the little one today. Able to park outside - no traffic.

Architecture and graphic design is my passion. Why design an obvious entrance on my fancy newish bar when I can stick a piece of paper in the window later. Class.
