Or wait, we could expand Medicaid in all the states to cover more low income people. OR, how about this - reinstate the individual mandate fines to increase the size of the insurance pool thus driving down costs? It’s almost like there are actual ideas out there that the GOP rejects out of hand.

If only the federal government established a plan on the exchanges so people wouldn’t need to pay these mean insurers and there would be downward pressure on costs because of the competition. They could call it a “public option.”
