What did they say they liked about your first published story that caused it to go through?

When you were trying to publish your first story, how long did it take you to get past the slush pile editor, then the managing editor and finally the editor to get your first story published? How hard was it?

The show was very good. Always try to at least grab a a guitar pick that is tossed out from every show I go to to have some sort of souvenir. I have something from every concert I've been to over the past 16 years. Including picks and set lists as well as other items.

For some they require both, for others it's more about the message more than the musicianship. This is especially true with alternative rock.

This was the youngest band that I have seen, the majority of the members are in their 40s.

I would say start with the album "Hybrid Theory." And then by the latest album and compare the two. See if you like the musical style and the lyrics.
