We show how you can separate these interfering images to measure T2* decay curves, with each readout measuring all images at once.

SSFP imaging is super-efficient, but there are banding ‘artifacts’ which interfere with features of the anatomy we’re interested in.

But…

These ‘artifacts’ are just the constructive and destructive interference of lots of different images with different contrasts!
