One of my favorite Catherine Snow quotes is: "You learn to ski in the summer." To me, that quote is about doing the work every day. I appreciate it and her.

I'm grateful for mentors in life. One is Dr. David Bulla. I met Bulla when I was 18. He was my sports journalism instructor at the High School Journalism Institute (HSJI) at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. We've remained in one another's lives ever since and I am better for it #gratitude
