I think I have addressed what you are now turning into what would be an entirely legitimate moral debate, but none of this was about that.
It was purely based on some teams being allowed to pay higher transfers and wages than others.

I mean, apart from the fact that he did have a hell of a lot to do with Liverpool. He was behind their funding of players to get them out of division two at the start of the Shankly era i.e. they were able to pay the big bucks to get where they wanted to be quickly
