One of the oldest structures in Cape Town is the Clock Tower in what is now known as the Waterfront. It was built in 1882 and used to be the office of the port captain. The B&W picture was shot in "monochrome" and not "converted" #Photography

7th street Melville. The real life setting on which the Afrikaans TV series 7nd Laan was based. There is NOTHING that vaguely resembles life in the series. Melville is characterized by homes that have high walls built on the pavements and electric fences. I found it odd to say the least.

Lets try this again. I'll change the wording slightly. I view this symbolically as the state of our nation. Plundered and ripped apart by those who saw fit to plunder and destroy. This once beautiful vibrant city of Joburg with its landmark tall towers. "They came, They saw, They conquered"

I decided to take some pictures during a respite in yesterday afternoons/evening's #JosyThunderStorm. Not the most technically challenging pictures. Depth of field and bright colors. Have yourselves a bright and colorful day people. I'm going home soon. #Photography
