Cookie Clicker is a masterclass in interesting progression pacing. As soon as you start to feel overly powerful you start breaking into the next bracket and you're stuck in the duldrums again, then just before it gets boring progression picks up again. 🍪

Manor Lords still strikes a brilliantly addictive balance between panic inducing pressure and chill city builder. You always feel a few bad decisions or unlucky events away from total collapse, but still have plenty of options to prevent disaster and things to noodle with to improve your town.

Played about 5 hours of Delta Force. It's not a bad game. But it feels like it doesn't know what it wants to be. First it feels like COD, then I'm playing Battlefield next I'm in a DMZ/Tarkov light.
