Great family day at the @kingscollegelondon.bsky.social Festival of AI! Children tried a mini turing test, choosing one word to prove they are human. Of course skibidi appeared! We also built a simple image recognition AI, which detected drawings of cats and (sometimes) dogs. @kingsnmes.bsky.social

Niche design moment today - excited too see the colourful stickers TFL have used to cover up the 'ghost' on the Elizabeth Line! Smart way to cover up dirty marks left by people cumulatively over the years 😎

Lovely to finally see the statue of Mary Anning in Lyme Regis! And what a beautiful setting for it, looking out to the cliffs where she worked.

Fascinating lecture from @markmiodownik.bsky.social, exploring how to tackle rampant consumerism and build a sustainable future. Lots to think about!

Anyone working with BBC micro:bits - I'm really enjoying working with the robo:bit mk3 from @4tronix.co.uk.

So easy for students to use, enabling them to go from zero to seeing their code control a robot within an hour session!

Sounds like a job for Atkinson Hyperlegible, my favourite font:
www.brailleinstitute.org/freefont/

Image shows the number 1, a capital then lower case letter i, then a lowercase L, which all look identical in many fonts.

Starbucks have an interesting maths problem for you this Christmas. What has the larger surface area - a square cake or a Christmas tree shaped cake?!

For those of us who want the largest slice of cake of our money, this is important!
