Cool! And cold–for mid April

This still exists. We are a speck of the universe, and we need to take care of ourselves while we are working to fix what we can. A practice of being in the moment has proven helpful across the millenia.

Just finished this (2017) book about George Washington and why we got a U.S. Army. It's an amazing look at the first president and the founders' machinations to gain land west of the colonies. Bumbling, lying, and deceit – with natives, England, Canada, and the Congress. Very interesting.

Sometimes, silence is the right thing to say.
