Cran rules! I’m bummed I wasn’t able to see them when they played SF last year, but at least it turned me on to them. Rejet, their EP follow-up to Natë also rips. If you like them you should check out Gurs - similar oi/post-punk goodness but from the Basque Country.

Not disagreeing with the dynamic, but my impression at the time was that Charbonnet was the conservative in that election. Specifically around tough on crime rhetoric (not saying anything about how Cantrell has governed).

That’s helpful, thanks. I remember reading a New Yorker article about Jean McConville about 12 years ago where the antirepublican bias was pretty overt, but it didn’t feel as present in the show. It’s also an topic I’m under-informed about, so I appreciate getting a bit more of the context.
