A first match for Jet today. A comprehensive home win for Broxburn v the Blue Brazil.

Just landed back from Motherwell. That was not a performance that deserved a 2-0 defeat. Couldn’t fault effort, drive, tempo, but decision making left something to be desired. My mate Rob’s first Dons game, he loved the atmosphere from the fantastic Dons support.

That’s why I never picked this up in a bookshop, the title turned me off. I was given it as a Christmas gift and just read it. It’s a great read in the style of the author’s previous work. At the end, he writes about the title, by way of explanation
